 ❝ my job is thrill. ❞ SOCHI ♔ THE BIOTIC russian order | neural trigger and response (pleasure and pain) named after a city once known as a major re-cooperation center for survivors of wwii (only to become the resort capital of russia later on), sochi operates in the lower eschelons of the russian order as something of a scalphunter — tasked more with the nitty-gritty operations in order to absolve those higher up the ladder by keeping their hands cleaner than others. born in st. petersberg, russia and raised in lewisham, south london by immigrant parents, natalia first appeared on the order's while working for the Братва in london. her ability to 'pass' as english satisfied the russian order's lingering preoccupation of having all eyes on the ground in western europe, while her skills as a scalphunter (specializing in wetwork, blackmail, and burglary) appealed to some of the more back-room, cloak-and-dagger sensibilities that still remained in the wake of the cold war and the dissolution of the soviet union. her induction into the order was not without its difficulties, however. her loyalties were questioned early on despite a professed allegiance to russia and her cause. only self-inflicted purge of her life in england was she given the final thumbs up. sochi has a past personal history with the irish operative dublin — one of the few links she still has to her former life in the UK. sochi's specialities are coercion and torture, as dictated by her powers — the ability to control an individual's neural functions, in particular those that drive physical sensation. this can effect a target or sochi herself and she been known to completely numb herself to pain when necessary. when operating, she always defaults to using pleasure first. only when that doesn't work will she switch to pain. |
